Mason McBride — Program Director
Mason McBride serves as the Program Director at Wake Point Recovery, working closely with our leadership team, including the CEO, COO, and CFO, to oversee all aspects of program operations. Mason ensures that our facility remains fully compliant with all regulatory and governing bodies, including the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) and The Joint Commission. He is responsible for maintaining program integrity, implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring that our outpatient services meet and exceed state and national standards. Mason’s leadership is key to delivering structured, effective programming while upholding the highest standards of care and compliance.

Eric Chaghouri, M.D. — Medical Director
Dr. Eric Chaghouri serves as the Medical Director and oversees all medical components of our outpatient program. He is responsible for supervising psychiatric services, ensuring that all medical treatments are delivered safely and effectively. Dr. Chaghouri provides oversight to our psychiatrists and nursing staff during psychiatric sessions, and he manages medication protocols, lab reports, and medical documentation. His expertise ensures that each client receives appropriate medical support integrated with their therapeutic treatment plan, creating a well-rounded approach to recovery.

Sara Glazer, LCSW — Clinical Director
As Clinical Director, Sara Glazer supervises all clinical treatment services provided at Wake Point Recovery. She oversees and provides guidance to case managers, group counselors, and one-on-one counselors, ensuring that all services are delivered with professionalism, compassion, and adherence to clinical standards. Sara ensures that therapeutic interventions are aligned with best practices, treatment plans are implemented effectively, and all clinical staff receive the supervision and support they need to deliver exceptional care. Her leadership guarantees that clients experience structured, evidence-based, and person-centered treatment throughout their recovery journey.

Shivali Dave, PA-C — Physician Assistant
Shivali Dave serves as a Physician Assistant at Wake Point Recovery and plays a key role in the medical support of our outpatient program. She conducts initial medical evaluations and follow-up appointments, assessing each client’s clinical needs and determining appropriate medication support when indicated. Shivali works collaboratively with the Medical Director and clinical team to monitor progress, manage medication plans, and ensure continuity of care. Her role helps integrate medical oversight with therapeutic services, supporting a comprehensive and individualized approach to recovery.

Mitchell Jordan, ACSW — Primary Therapist
Our Licensed Therapists provide individual and group therapy services as a core component of treatment at Wake Point Recovery. They facilitate one-on-one counseling sessions and lead therapeutic groups using evidence-based modalities to address substance use, co-occurring mental health concerns, and recovery skills. Therapists collaborate with the clinical and medical teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, track client progress, and support long-term recovery goals. Their work ensures clients receive consistent, structured, and compassionate therapeutic care throughout their outpatient program.

Wake Point Recovery is licensed by DHCS, the state agency responsible for regulating health care facilities and programs in California. DHCS ensures that outpatient drug and alcohol treatment centers meet strict standards for safety, quality, and patient care, guaranteeing that our services are compliant with state regulations and best practices.

Counselors Certified by CCAPP
Our counselors are certified by CCAPP, the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals. CCAPP sets professional standards for addiction treatment providers, promotes ongoing education, and ensures competency in substance use counseling. This certification guarantees that our counseling staff are highly trained and up-to-date in delivering effective, evidence-based treatment.

Medical Staff Licensed by the Medical Board of California
Our medical team is licensed by the Medical Board of California, which oversees the licensing and regulation of physicians and surgeons in the state. The Board ensures that our doctors and medical staff provide safe, competent, and ethical care, including oversight of medications, lab tests, and psychiatric services.

Clinical Staff Licensed by the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS)
All of our clinical staff, including therapists and counselors, are licensed or registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS). The BBS regulates professional standards for counselors, marriage and family therapists, and clinical social workers, ensuring that every clinician at Wake Point Recovery provides ethical, professional, and high-quality care to our clients.
